Warranty
Warranty
We build frames to be worn every day for years. If something fails that shouldn't have, we will take care of it.
What Is Covered
Every Denon frame carries a one year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, beginning on the date of delivery. This covers failures in materials or workmanship under normal use, including:
- Hinge failure or separation not caused by impact
- Delamination or cracking of the acetate
- Loss of plating or finish on metal components under normal wear
- Lens coating defects present from manufacture
- Structural faults in the frame front or temples
What Is Not Covered
- Accidental damage, impact, crushing, or drops
- Normal cosmetic wear, including surface scratches on frames or lenses
- Damage from heat, chemicals, solvents, or improper cleaning
- Damage caused during lens installation or adjustment by a third party
- Loss or theft
- Frames purchased from an unauthorized reseller
Fitting a frame with prescription lenses does not void this warranty, but damage that occurs during that process is the responsibility of the optician who performed the work.
How It Works
If we confirm a manufacturing defect, we will repair the frame or replace it with the same model at no charge to you, including shipping both ways. If the model is no longer available, we will offer a comparable frame or a full refund.
Warranty service is not subject to any fee.
Making a Claim
Email orders@denoneyewear.com with:
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- The model and color of the frame
- Clear photos showing the issue
We will review and respond within two business days. If the claim is approved, we will send a prepaid label for the frame to come back to us.
Repairs Outside Warranty
If your frame falls outside this warranty, we will still try to help. Contact us with photos and we will let you know whether a repair is possible and what it would cost. We would rather keep a frame in service than see it replaced.
Caring for Your Frames
A few habits will keep a frame looking new far longer than any warranty:
- Clean lenses with lukewarm water and a drop of mild soap, then dry with the cloth provided. Dry wiping grinds dust into the coating.
- Remove and replace your frames with both hands. One-handed removal is the leading cause of hinge failure.
- Never leave frames in a hot car or on a dashboard. Heat warps acetate permanently.
- Store them in the case, lenses up.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights that vary by state. For returns within 14 days of delivery, see our shipping and returns policy.
